Recalibrating Difficulty in EdisonOS

Recalibration helps educators fine-tune question difficulty based on learner performance and response patterns. By analyzing assessment data, administrators can adjust question weightage, ensure balanced difficulty levels, and improve overall assessment accuracy. This process enhances learning outcomes by maintaining fair and effective evaluations.
👨💻 Login to your learning platform as an administrator with your admin credentials.
1. Navigate to 'Assessments' from the main dashboard.
2. Go to 'Question Bank' to proceed further.
3. Select any of the required assessments.
4. Click on 'Recalibrate difficulty' icon as shown.
5. Click on 'Recalibrate' to kickstart the process.
6. You will receive a success message notification. After that, refresh the page and check again after few minutes.
7. A small pop-up suggestion will appear near to the existing difficulty level with the recommended difficulty level. Clicking on it will update the question's difficulty accordingly.
8. Visual Representation of the updated difficulty after you click on the suggestion.
