Export Questions from Question Bank

This guide helps admins in exporting questions from the platform's Question Bank, essential for managing assessments efficiently. Additionally, the guide offers visualizations for different export types, enhancing understanding and usability. 👨‍💻 Log in to your learning platform as an administrator with your admin credentials.

1. Navigate to 'Assessments' from the main dashboard.

2. Select 'Question Bank Export'

3. Click on 'Create Export'

4. Enter an export name to identify your file. Click on the dropdown and select a folder based on your preferences.

NOTE: You can select one or more than one folder!
 

5. Click on the dropdown and choose how you want your questions to be exported.

6. You can choose the question numbering format, either continuous or folder-wise, using this option.

Continuous Numbering:

If your question bank is organized into multiple sections within the same folder, the question numbering will continue across sections. This means the first question in a new section will start from the next number after the last question in the previous section.

Example: If Section 1 ends with Question 27, Section 2 will begin with Question 28.

Folder Wise Numbering:

If you are exporting from multiple folders, the question numbering will reset to 1 for each new folder.

Example: If Folder A ends at Question 20, Folder B will start again at Question 1.

7. After selecting all necessary options, click on "Continue."

8. You will get a pop-up message notification, and your export status will be in 'Initiated' stage. Once the export status is converted to 'Completed', you will be able to download the file. Click "Download File" to save the question bank folder in your system.
